magnetic valve

I find magnetic valves so interesting! These valves are like magic on-off switches that can start and stop the flow of liquids or gases without ever touching them. Isn’t that cool?

The inner workings of a magnetic valve

A coil of wire is located in a magnet valve. As the electricity passes through the wire, it creates a magnetic field. This magnetic field raises a metallic part thought of as a plunger. Whether the electricity is on or off, the plunger opens or closes the valve. It’s kind of like how a magnet will attract a paperclip, but on a super large scale!
